Overview

As the Head of Business Development, you will be driving our growth strategy and expanding our market presence. You will leverage your technical knowledge and commercial acumen to develop leads, create and execute go-to-market (GTM) strategies, refine our sales processes, and manage our sales funnel. Your role will involve direct interaction with enterprise clients, requiring a deep understanding of enterprise needs, the AI landscape, and how to position our offering. The pivotal role will work closely with the CEO, founders, and board to capitalise on the potential of specialised AI.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective GTM strategies to penetrate target markets and drive revenue growth.
• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities and leads within enterprise environments.
• Lead and manage the entire sales process, from initial contact to closing deals, ensuring a smooth and efficient customer journey.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within target enterprises.
• Collaborate closely with the technical team to understand and communicate the technical aspects of our AI solutions to clients.
• Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities, and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
• Provide insights and feedback to the product development team to align our offerings with market needs.
• Manage and track the sales funnel using CRM tools, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting.

Qualifications

• A track record in business development or sales leadership role within the technology sector, ideally with a focus on AI or enterprise software.
